Forced Induction Performance

(Amazon.com link)
Author: A. Graham Bell
Similar subject matter as Maximum Boost, but this book has much more information. It also delves into gasoline, combustion chamber design, more specific talk about intake and exhaust manifolds, etc. I suggest this book to anyone who is looking to piece together systems to build a finished system, purchase and install any more serious turbocharged system, or spend any sort of significant amount of money paying someone else to work on their turbocharged car.

This book covers the basics of turbocharging. Consider it a good primer and start in the world of turbocharging. I would recommend this book to any current or future owner of a turbocharged car, anyone looking to pay someone else to work on their turbocharged car, anyone looking to install minor upgrades to their turbocharged car

How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems

(Amazon.com link)
Author: Jeff Hartman
This book covers actually applying electronics to the engine management systems. A whole chapter dedicated to sensors you may already have or wish to add! Covers piggybacks, standalone systems, and reflash technology. Good background for comparing different types of engine management. Might also help give background for one to understand some of the indepth reflash hacking you may see on Openecu.org forums or Enguinity.org. I would recommend reading this only after Forced Induction Performance.

Engine Management Advanced Tuning

Author: Greg Banish
Another book covering applying actual electronics. This book is slightly more up to date and covers some items that Hartman's book does not. I highly recommend this for Openecu users.
